Self-Sabotage

donutsWhat is the deal with Self-Sabotage?

I mean, seriously.

You know what you want, you are ready to create change, then one of two things happen… it either feels that you are walking against the wind just as soon as you get going -or- you move forward with purpose, start to see results and BAM… it is YOU against YOU.

It is simple really, we have all heard it before:

Get out of your own way.

Put in the work and allow the results to come.

Simple… yes.

Easy… no.

Why does resistance in the form of self-sabotage have such a sneaky way of creeping in and trying to keep us from achieving our dreams?

————————————————

We have all fallen into this mindset from time to time haven’t we? Even though placing blame on self-sabotage is acknowledging that delayed progress is our own doing, in a way, it is treating it like an outside source. By taking ownership for our personal decisions we are able to stay in tune to the ability we have to create what we desire.

Think about it for a minute… self-sabotage is really just a lack of awareness in a moment of resistance. Seeing it for what it really is makes it easy to shift perceptions and be grateful for the refining power that comes from pushing forward to your truth in a moment of pressure.

Learning.

Growing.

Progressing.

Achieving.

All of this, at an accelerated rate because of that added resistance. Not such a bad thing after all. Self-Sabotage is not something that has control over a situation…it is simply an outlet for placing blame. Well, no more! Just took the power out that little diddy.

Much love,

Steph Hurd

I have been here more times than I want to admit! I believe it is just another blaming tactic… I will not be doing this anymore! I want the best that’ my life has to offer! I will have the best! 🙂

Right there with you Nichole. Love that we can constantly recommit to owning our actions and make the necessary tweaks to make them work for us instead of against us! I feel the energy behind your commitment 🙂
